Tropical Army Belt and Buckle 1942

Here's a beautiful steel based, single piece, green painted Tropical Army Belt and Buckle. The obverse depicts an embossed closed winged eagle gripping a swastika in its talons. The eagle is in front of a pebbled base, above a half oak leaf and acorn wreath and underneath: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). The wreath and motto are in front of a decorative line type pattern which is all encircled by two twisted ropes. The steel prongs and catch remain in excellent condition! The buckle is maker marked and dated 1942, it is quite lightly done. The details to the wreath, motto and eagle are all beautiful! The webbed tropical belt remains in excellent condition as well!
