Well here’s a nice example of a Bavarian Police sword by Eickhorn. The plated blade on this one looks great! A bright finish that ends at a sharp point! The “Original Eickhorn Solingen” maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates Exc++. The buffer pad continues to remain intact. The scabbard has a nice leather body. It shows some age crazing and period wear, yet remains in great shape! The scalloped fittings look great as well! They remain nice and bright and are tightly secured by two reverse staples. The reverse lower fitting has a small pressure mark. The hilt on this one looks awesome! It is all solid nickel and has a bright finish that matches the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The shark skin grip retains a beautiful grey/blue color, with only minor wear and 100% coverage. The double twisted wire wrap remains tightly secured. A beautiful sword available just for you!
