Here we have an early Hitler Youth dagger just for you! The blade on this one is good. The acid etched ?Grawiso Solingen Ges. Geschuzt? maker mark is beautifully executed! The tip and fit are both perfect. Some of the ?Blut und Ehere!? motto continues to remain visible. The blade on this one rates Exc. There is age greying and surface scratches throughout. The buffer pad remains frail yet still intact. The black painted enamel scabbard has about 85% of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! The brown scabbard leather remains in great shape! There is a bit of leather loss next to the well working snap. The nickel plated steel hilt has 85% of it's plating intact. The black celluloid checkered grip plates are tightly secured and in near perfect condition! The small early HJ diamond retains 100% of its enamel. A fairly priced early example!
