Here we have an Early 1927 pattern SS/SA Political Cap Eagle! This eagle was used on both the SA and SS caps, so it will go well with either focus of collection. It is made out of die stamped, tombak base that has been silver washed, and has a black painted swastika. The obverse shows the 1927 pattern SS/SA eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The reverse shows a hollow back. The prongs are all intact and it is RZM marked. An excellent early piece with great detail. This is one of the most desirable cap badges!
