Early SA Dagger by Friedrich Geigis

Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

Here we have an early SA dagger by Friedrich Geigis. This maker is extremely rare and rates 10 out of 10 on McSarrs list! The blade on this one looks great. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Friedrich Geigis Solingen-Foche" maker mark are beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc+. It has age grey and spotting throughout. The brown anodized scabbard has some oxidization spotting wear throughout. It continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards are in great condition. They show the some age. The ball has a bruise to it that looks worse from the reverse. All four screws remain intact. The lower scabbard fitting has a bit of pealing to it. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Ns" (Niedersachsen). The grip / crossguard fits are excellent! The brown hardwood grip has a soft finish and looks awesome! There are a few bruises but no chips, cracks or splits! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 90% of its enamel. Overall it's a great example by a rare maker and one you can't go wrong on!
