Submarine Sweetheart Bracelet 1945

A neat little trinket here! I believe it is made out of nickel silver alloy. The front shows a Submarine on a rectangle plate with 4 chain links to either side and a connecting piece to the end clasp piece. The connecting piece may be a later replacement? The reverse shows an etched date reading "23 . XI . 45." (November 23rd 1945). It measures 8 inches long. Purchased from Vet’s family by me. Cool!
