Imperial Prussian Army Belt Buckle

Here we have a pre-imperial war (introduced in 1870) Prussian Army Belt Buckle. It is the rarer 50mm sized buckle. It is constructed out of two pieces of die struck brass/nickel. On the round plate roundel, the obverse depicts the Imperial king's crown on a smooth field, which is then encircled by detailed lines and enclosed by two twisted ropes. The crown is above a laurel leaf motif and below the Army motto: ?GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). The roundel has some pressure marks to it. The buckle shows age toning throughout. The brass prongs and catch remain in excellent condition. It has the stepped sides and the three solder points. A nice solid example here for the taking!
