The bright blade on this one looks good. The crossgrain is awesome and runs the full length of the blade, the tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is tightly secured. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. There is some age greying and spotting throughout and edges are rough. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard looks great! It remains completely dent free and both throat retain screws remain intact! The zinc based, silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in great condition. Both show some plating wear throughout. The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass pommel screw cap has some wear to as most of these do. The yellow trylon grip is nicely aged. It has a hairline crack to the reverse. Overall this is a great piece!
