Well, this here is an excellent looking SA! This one rates 8 out of 10 on McSaars SA rarity rating! The blade on this one looks excellent! The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and Halbach/Bulldog maker mark beautifully contrast the bright blade! The crossgrain is stunning and runs the full length of the blade. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an Exc++. It shows the common spotting throughout. The brown anodized scabbard body looks great. It continues to remain completely dent free! It has some oxidization spotting towards the tip, but that's it. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look good. The top is excellent. The lower shows some wear and one small pressure. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Nrh" (Niederrhien). The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The brown grained hardwood grip looks excellent! It has one small chip to the top-obverse and the common pressure marks throughout. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 90% of its enamel. A rare and nice looking SA!
