Here we have the Kyffhäuserbund Veterans 1st Pattern Stick Pin! It is a two piece stickpin the back portion is an alloy base that has been die struck and silver washed and the top portion is a tombak base that has been die struck and bronze washed with white, black and red enamel work. The obverse features, within a shield shape, a black Kyffhäuser monument on a white field and is above a Tri-Color National flag. This is all underneath a circular "25" and is surrounded by a silvered oak leaf wreath. The reverse shows a flat back with an embossed "Ges. Gesch." to the bottom. It also has a soldered and knurled tombak stick pin to the back. It continues to retain beautiful enamel work and silver gilding! A nice piece that remains in excellent condition!
