Early SA Dagger by Neuhaus
Heres a solid early example! The blade on this one looks great! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Ferd. Neuhaus Solingen" maker mark are dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. Some nice crossgrain remains as well. The blade rates a solid Exc+/Exc++. It has age grey and spotting throughout. The brown anodized scabbard looks great. It has some oxidization spotting throughout yet continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards are in great condition, matching in color wear and patina. The ball remains round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wm" (Westmark). The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect as well! The brown grip has a beautiful grained wood and looks awesome! There are a few pressure marks but no chips, cracks or splits! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. Overall it's a great example!
