1st Class War Merit Cross w/o Swords

Here we have a complete 1st Class War Merit Cross without Swords! It is made of a tombak base that has been die struck and silver washed. The obverse depicts a centrally placed wreathed swastika on a pebbled maltese style cross. The reverse shows a full back with a flat wire soldered catch, soldered block hinge and flat wire pin. I believe this is an unmarked ?43? Julius Bauer Sohne, (Thanks Robert for your assistance on this one). It shows nice age patina and the frosting on the badge is just beautiful! Purchased from Vet's family.
