A nice piece! The blade on this piece looks great! The crossgrain shines wonderfully against the light, the tip and fit are both perfect and the dark acid etched "Alles fur Deutchland" motto and "RZM M7/67/41" (Gottlieb Hammesfahr, Solingen-Foche) maker mark are both beautifully executed! The blade rates Exc++. It has been ever-so-slightly sharpened and shows minor age graying. The brown enamel painted scabbard has 97% of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! The steel based nickel plated scabbard fittings look wonderful. They retain 99% of their plating matching the crossguards in color and plating! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The light brown hardwood grip is perfect, still retaining some of its original factory lacquer! No crack, chips or splits. The aluminum eagle is nicely detailed and fits perfectly in the grip! The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A beautiful grip, wonderful fittings, excellent scabbard and a great blade!
