Single Decal M40 Luftwaffe Helmet by EF-64

Here we have a combat worn example of a M40 style single decal Luftwaffe Helmet. The shell is constructed out of a stamped piece of steel sheet metal that has been green textured pained. The shell has a folded over edge, embossed air vents and three split rivets. The interior has a steel liner with two square rings. The dark brown leather sized "56" liner has crazing and mothing throughout. the draw string is lost to time. The exterior continues to retain 95% of its original paint! The single white and black Luftwaffe decal is beautiful! 90% intact! The chinstrap is beautiful and completely intact. The helmet is serial marked "3068" to the back and is also maker marked and sized "EF64" (Emaillerwerk AG, Fulda). A great piece!
