Meritorious Order of the German Eagle, a 1st Class set (1943 - 45) Sash Cross, silver, gilt, enamelled. The ring on a leaf-shaped agrafe, gilt, silver national eagles. Manufacturer's mark "21" (for the Godet Bros, Berlin) in the ring as well as "900" silver mark of fineness. 50 x 50 mm, weight 28.06 g. Included is the sewn sash. Breast Star in silver, with enamelled gilt, silver cross and national eagles. The attachment pin is punched "900 21". Weight 60.7 g. In red award presentation case with gold embossed eagle, white silk liner marked "Deutscher Adlerorden I. Klasse". 19 x 28 cm. Minor storage age.
