Here's a nice steel based, single piece, green painted tabbed army belt buckle. The obverse depicts an embossed closed winged eagle griping a swastika in its talons. The eagle is above a half oak leaf and acorn wreath and underneath: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). The wreath and motto are in front of a decorative line type pattern which is all encircled by two twisted ropes. The steel prongs and catch remain in excellent condition! The tab is nicely marked. The buckle retains good paint with wear to the high areas and top edge. The details to the wreath, motto and eagle are all beautiful! A great buckle awaiting your collection!
