Here we have a die stamped, alloy based, black painted, Imperial black wound badge. The oval badge depicts an embossed Imperial helmet which is above two crossed broad swords. This then lies on a pebbled field and is surrounded by a laurel leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom with a bow. The tombak pin is soldered on a 45 degree angle and in well-working condition. 75% of the black paint remains intact! The badge measures 1.75 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. Overall it’s a great piece!
