Here we have a Catholic pin from Bornhofen Germany. It is made of a die struck, tombak base that has been gold gilded and contains blue and white enamel work. The obverse depicts a centrally placed Mary, who is sitting and crowned with Jesus on her lap above a golden rayed backing and surrounded by "Sancta Maria Ora Pro Nobis Bornhofen" (Holly Mary, Pray For Us) in gold on a white backing. The reverse shows a full back with a soldered plate tombak pin that is in well working condition. Nice gold gilt and enamel remain. The right piece for the right person!
