A nice example here! The blade on this one rates Exc++. The crossgrain is beautiful against the light, the tip and fit are both perfect and acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/68” (Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co., Solingen) maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed! There is the common age greying throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard has 80% of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! The nickel plated scabbard fittings look good with 80% plating remains. The ball has a wee bruise yet retains its original round shape. All four screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is near perfect! The patinaed nickel plated crossguards have 85% plating intact. The light brown hardwood grip has a few pressure marks yet continues to remain chip, crack and flake free. The aluminum nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and sits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great example of an RZM NSKK!
