Japanese Type 90 Combat Helmet

Here we have the standard type 90 Japanese combat helmet. The shell is constructed out of a steel base that has been painted in an olive drab. The shell shows no dents or holes, minor oxidization spotting, the odd scuff of white paint and retains 70% of its original olive drab paint. The shell also shows four ventilation holes to the top, six rivets, two split rivets and an IJA olive drab painted metal star affixed to the front. The interior shows a three padded brown leather liner, string and full length chin strap. The leather is in excellent condition with all of its stitching and only minor scuffs and sweat stains. The interior side is marked and sized. A fine example!
