A great addition to your collection! The blade on this one looks excellent! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Pfeilringwerk Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is beautiful running the full length of the blade! It has a perfect fit and perfect tip! The blade rates in at an Exc++/NM. There is very minor spotting and age grey throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard is in excellent condition as well! I believe it has been re-painted at some point later in its life. It has a nice smooth finish to it! There is the smallest pressure mark to the obverse. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent matching the crossguards in color and patina! There is one bruise to the lower-obverse fitting. The ball continues to retain its original round shape and all four scabbard screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect! The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Om" (Ostmark). The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown hardwood grip looks excellent. There are a few minor hits/pressure marks throughout. No chips, cracks or flakes! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit! The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A nice piece all around!
