German WWII > Belt Buckles > Luftwaffe >
A quality example here! The buckle is constructed out of a die struck steel base that has been black painted. The obverse features a centrally placed Luftwaffe open winged eagle clutching a swastika in one of its talons, on a pebbled background, that is all encircled by a laurel leaf and berry wreath that is tied together at the bottom, which then all lies on a smooth rectangle background. The steel prongs and catch remain in excellent condition! Attached to the prongs is a folded over and stitched brown leather tab. The tab is maker marked "Bruder Schneider Wien". The buckle is in wonderful condition with excellent detail and paint. A great piece worthy of anyone's collection!
