A great piece straight from the Vet's family. The bright blade on this one has some pitting but really that is the only negative about this piece. Much crossgrain remains. The blade rates Exc+. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The silvered finished scabbard looks great with plating retained at 99%+. It is dent free, with the random pebbling throughout and both throat retain screws remain intact! The plated crossguard and pommel are both in good condition with excellent plating again retained at 99%+. The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The pommel screw cap looks to have never been turned. it is not all buggered up like so many of these we see. The orange grip is in perfect condition! Overall this is a great piece and one you will be proud to own!
