Frosty Steinhauer & Lück Knight's Cross
Wonderful frosty example of the coveted RK by S&L of Lüdenscheid. This is a textbook cross that is correctly marked with the "micro" 800 silver mark on the frame, the loop is unmarked. The paint is in fine condition with a few small chips as show on the swas. Three piece with a magnetic core. For those of you checking this against references the 3 o'clock are exhibits the typical beginnings of the notorious beading flaw of the type A. This cross also exhibits the progressively die flaw that we see clearly shown on pg 143 of the excellent Maerz reference. Included is approx 11½" piece of original ribbon.
