RZM M7/62 Hitler Youth Dagger
A fine piece that was purchased last week from the Vet's family. the dark "RZM M7/62" (Friedrich Plucker Jr,) maker mark is beautifully executed and it continues to remain contrasting nicely to the bright blade. It rates Exc. It has been sharpened, has scratches and honest wear throughout. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard has no dents and 98% paint coverage. The scabbard leather is in wonderful condition! No crazing, damage or rips and the snap works well! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt on this one looks fine. 25% of the plating is lost to time giving it that grey finish. The black checkered celluloid grip plates remain in near perfect condition! No cracks or chips. The later period HJ diamond looks great retaining 99% enamel! Overall it a fine piece to start your collection off and it won't break the bank!
