The Cadillac of all SS Dagger makers: Boker! This is a beautiful example that will not disappoint! The blade on this one looks wonderful! It has stunning crossgrain that runs the full length of the blade and the fit and tip are both perfect! The dark and crisp, acid etched "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue" motto and "B?ker Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed and provide a wonderful black contrast to the bright blade! The motto shows that faint pimpling that we often see on Bokers. The blade rates a solid Exc++. Nice! It has some minor age spotting throughout. The black anodized scabbard is quite attractive! It has a wonderful black finish, with just a ton of factory lacquer remaining say 99%!! It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scalloped fittings also look excellent with the exception that the ball is split. It retains all four scabbard screws. The scabbard/hilt fit is perfect and closes with a snap. The solid nickel crossguards look excellent, matching the scabbard fittings in color and wear. The reverse of the lower fitting is district stamped "I" (Munich). The black died hardwood grip has two small flakes, and is better than most SS daggers! It exhibits those wonderful fits that reflect the time and effort Boker invested in these pieces. There are The solid nickel eagle is wonderfully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SS roundel retains 99.9% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit!
