A beautifully aged example! The bright blade on this one looks great! The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Gebr. Becker Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates Exc++! It shows the common age spotting and surface scratches throughout but that's it! The brown annodized scabbard looks good! It shows the common oxidization spotting throughout. It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look excellent and have nicely patinaed with time. They match the crossguards in color, patina and condition. The ball has a small bruise and all four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "No" (Nordsee). The dark brown multi-toned grained hardwood grip looks good! There is one flake and a wee crack and it has the common pressure marks throughout. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel. A fine example of an early patinaed SA Dagger!
