I love the bullion work on these! It is constructed out of a tan buckram base that is covered in a red stitched/glued on wool with hand embroidered silver/aluminum flatwire threads and is piped in a stitched on pearl white twisted rayon rope. The obverse features three Luftwaffe gulls above an oak leaf and acorn cluster, that is tied together at the center, which lies on a red backing and is surrounded by a pearl twisted rope. The reverse shows the buckram base, to the center, that is surrounded by the folded over red wool covering, white stitching and is surrounded by that same pearl twisted rope. Minor mothing holes to the reverse only. This piece is in excellent condition!
