Early 1st Pattern Navy Cap Eagle

Beautiful gold gilt on this early one! It is constructed out of a die stamped, tombak base that has gold gilded. The obverse depicts a 1st pattern Kreigsmarine eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse shows a soldered on and knurled tombak pin. It measures 2 inches tall (with the pin) by 1 15/16 inches wide. A nice quality, rarer piece!
