Early SS 807/36 RZM Dagger

Here we have a beautiful early RZM SS Dagger! The entire dagger was cleaned at some point. The blade on this one is nice and bright! The crisp acid etched "Meine Ehre heisst Treue" motto and "SS 807/36 RZM" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is very nice and can be seen the full length of the blade. The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. It has been cleaned, shows only the slightest age grey/spotting and the tip looks to be slightly re-shaped but it continues to measure the correct 220mm long. The scabbard is steel based and black painted. It shows some spidering and paint loss yet retains 75% of its original paint and continues to remain dent free! The cleaned solid nickel scabbard fittings look great with only the odd scratch. They match the crossguards quite nicely. The ball retains a perfectly round shape and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The black died hardwood grip looks fine. It has the common pressure marks throughout along with several flakes to the edges. Someone had tried to fill some of the lower ones. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detail and has a perfect fit! The SS roundel is also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel!
