Full Rohm SA Dagger by Haenel

Rare enough finding a full Rohm but to find one by Haenel is almost unheard of! The blade on this one is one to be cherished! The entire "In herzlicher kameradschaft, Ernst Rohm" Rohm motto is completely intact and is located exactly where it should be! The "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Haenel C.G. Haenel SUHL Waffen-u. Fahrrard Fabrik" maker mark are all dark and crisp! Just the way you want to see them! The crossgrain nicely shines in the light and can be seen the full length of the blade. The fit and tip are both perfect as well! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. This thing is untouched, never taken apart and played with like so may if these things. It shows heavy age spotting throughout, you perhaps could clean it up a bit. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard is looks great! It has a nice anodized finish with some traces of factory lacquer. It remains completely dent free! It shows a little oxidization spotting throughout. The solid nickel scabbard fittings have nicely patinaed with time matching the crossguard in condition and color! The ball remains perfectly round and all of the screws remain tightly intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Th" (Thuringen). The crossguard / grip fits are perfect as well! The brown hardwood grained grip is near perfect! It has one wee split just above the roundel and has the common pressure marks throughout. It is still better than most! The solid nickel eagle has excellent detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit. This is truly an excellent piece that you will be proud to own!
