Restored DLV Dagger by Gebr. Heller

Here we have a professionally restored DLV Dagger by Gebr. Heller. The whole thing has been cleaned and the grip leather has been replaced. The cleaned blade on this one is nice and bright. The acid etched "Gebr. Heller Marienthal b. Schweina thr." maker mark is nicely executed. It has a perfect tip and fit. Some crossgrain remains visible as well. The blade rates Exc++. It shows minor age grey and surface scratches. The blue pebbled leather buffer pad is a replacement. The scabbard looks excellent! The scabbard leather is original to the piece and has had the seam fixed up and been re-blued to match the replaced grip leather. The bright scabbard fittings look great matching the hilt perfectly. The ball remains perfectly round and all four original screws remain intact. The hanger leather has been replaced. The "A DRGM" marked clip works well! The throat is correctly DLV marked. The hilt looks great! The enameled swastikas look wonderful retaining 99% enamel. The crossguard is "K" marked. A nice bright piece that will gleam nicely in your collection!
