A nicely aged piece! The blade on this one looks fine. The acid etched "Blut und Ehre!" motto and "RZM M7/2 1937" (Emil Voos Waffenfabrik, Solingen) maker mark are nicely executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an Exc++. It shows surface scratches and spotting/age grey throughout. The original brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is in excellent shape! It retains 85% of its original paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The blackened scabbard leather remains in great shape! All of its rivets are intact and the button continues to work well! It is also "LFS" marked! The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt is in fine shape. It has aged bubbling and minor plating loss yet retains 85%+ coverage. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in near perfect shape being tightly secured by two nickel rivets. The early HJ diamond retains 98% of its enamel! A nice piece!
