A nice piece! The blade on this one looks great! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/80" maker mark are beautifully executed! The crossgrain is wonderful as you shine it in the light! The tip comes to a perfect point and fit is nice and tight! The bale rates Exc++/NM. It shows minor age grey and spotting throughout. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard shows looks great! It shows some age spidering and one pressure mark to the obverse. It continues to remain nice and dark with approximately 97% paint coverage! The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look great! They show the common spotting dots throughout and retain approximately 98% plating coverage. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is tight and near perfect! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards show minor thinning but match the crossguards in patina and age wear. The brown hardwood grip looks great. It shows the common pressure marks throughout along with one wee chip just above the eagle. No flakes or cracks! The nickel-silver plated eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit! The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A solid piece!
