A great piece! About 25% of the name remains! This one was previously owned by Johnson Reference Books & Militaria so I will just use his description: "SA Partially Ground Rohm Dagger. E. P. & S., Siefried wielding hammer (Ernst Pack) TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface age patina, with reverse lower crossguard group marked, "Ns" (Niedersachsen). Dark brown oak grained wooden grip shows light surface wear with two chips to the lower reverse adjacent to crossguard and one small chip and several "pecks" on upper reverse adjacent to the crossguard. Silver grip eagle and SA insert are properly inset with one chip to the lower edge of the enamel on the SA insert. Polished blade grades excellent, showing light surface wear/runner marks and some gray shadowing primarily along cutting edge. Deeply etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Reverse Rohm inscription shows grinding to the signature only, with traces of several letters in the signature still remaining. Remainder of inscription is undamaged. Dent-free, anodized scabbard shows surface wear/crazing to anodization with light surface wear/age patina to the upper and lower nickel-silver fittings, with minor denting to the lower ball."
