What a piece! Haven't come across one of these before! This one was previously owned by Ruptured Duck so I will just use his description: "This outstanding example recently surfaced out of the woodwork and remains in beautiful condition! As you are probably aware, NSKK Enlisted Man's examples are drying up! The nickel plated crossguards are nice and bright, displaying minor pimpling throughout, which is common on RZM plated examples. NO worries! The edges remain crisp while the surfaces are smooth showing minor wear/age. The lug nut is also the plated variety, however, it displays approximately 50% minor rust throughout the surface. The RZM style grip with "high contour ridge" is absolutely gorgeous displaying little or no age! Remarkable! The grain is really beautiful as is the grip-to-crossguard fit. The grip eagle is the "aluminum" style exhibiting very minor wear to the highlights easily rating near mint! The "SA runes" button is beautifully set showing no wear or age. The blade is FANTASTIC and almost flawless, grading at least mint! The SA motto "Alles fur Deutschland" remains as nice and crisp as the day it was made with the background burnishing and crossgraining remaining at 100%! Beautiful! The reverse ricasso is matching etched with a "transitional" Holler double trademark consisting of the "double oval circles" trapping the company name and location "F.W. Holler/Solignen". Inside the center circle is the "thermometer" logo (Volume 11, page 211). Directly below the logo is the small "open RZM circle" and beneath is the maker code "M 7/33". This is the FIRST time that I have encountered a Holler transitional code on any political dagger! The scabbard shell is as straight as the come! The original black paint is bright and shiny rating 98% with the 2% wear evenly distributed to both sides. The matching plated fittings are bright and shiny having the same minor pimpling to both sides. They are retained by four matching domehead side screws, which are unturned, being the "implated" style. A beautifully conditioned example with a RARE transitional mark! DON'T pass this one up!"
