Wow, this one's nice! The blade on this one is excellent! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/36" (E. & F. H?rster, Solingen) maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is beautiful and can be seen the full length of the blade! The tip is perfect as is the fit! The blade rates an easy NM. It shows only the faintest runner marks, spotting and surface scratches. The steel based brown enamel painted scabbard has 98% of its original paint still intact! It has the slightest surface scratches and one wee pressure mark to the obverse that can only be seen when you shine it in the light. The nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look wonderful retaining 98% of their plating. The ball continues to remain perfectly round and all four screws remain intact! The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards are in excellent shape! They retain 98% plating coverage. The brown multi-toned grained hardwood grip is practically perfect! Nice and soft to the touch. No cracks, chips or splits. The zinc eagle is has lost its finish yet is nicely detailed and sits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 95% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great looking RZM example!
