Some work went into these ones! It is constructed out of hand embroidered gold bullion thread which has been stitched to a navy blue wool and glued on black paper backing. The obverse depicts a Kriegsmarine open winged eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons. The reverse shows the glued on black paper backing. It is well worn. It measures approximately 4 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. An inexpensive officers piece!
