Imperial K98 Bayonet by Hartkopf

Here's an example out of a Canadian Vat's estate we recently acquired. The blade on this one rates Exc+. There's honest age and there are runner marks along with the common spots where the runners have rested. The blade is stamped "Gerb. Harkpf Solingen. It is also stamped "W16" to the spine. The scabbard is unmarked and the scabbard log us missing. There are a few bumps and light surface scratches but the anodized finish looks great and the fit is perfect! The crossguard is stamped "33"and secured with two spanner nuts. The brown hardwood grip plates are in decent shape! A few bumps and a chip. They also have a perfect fit, being tightly secured by two rivets/spanner nuts. Rare to find an WWI K98 bayonet.
