SA Competition Gruppe Niderrhein Tinnie 1935

A nice SA Tinnie to go along with the collection! It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been gold gilded. The shield shaped obverse features an SA logo above a vertical broad sword and is surrounded by a wreath, with a mobile swastika to either side, at the top and “Reichs Wettkampftage Der SA Gruppe Niederrhein 28.-30. Aug 1935” (Empire days of competition SA Group The Niederrhein 28th - 30th August 1935) to the bottom. The hollow back reverse has a vertically soldered on well working steel pin, which is slightly bent. It measures 2 ¼ inches tall by 1 ½ inches wide. A nice piece with lots of gold gilt left!
