A rare set! The buckles, back connector, bands and clips are all constructed out of an aluminum-alloy base that has been black burnished. There are six steel adjustment loops/gromets that have been black enamel painted. The blackened leather is folded over and stitched together at both ends. It also has black stitching paneling the length of both sides. The back connector shows rubbing/thinning areas from period wear. The clips are nicely detailed with pebbling throughout. The buckles nicely display a decorative cog wheel to each one. The leather is heavily crazed and shows blackening loss throughout. Some black shoe polish may help these. These hangers hardly ever come around so if you’ve been looking for one, now’s the time!
