A great looking piece! The bright blade on this one looks excellent. The acid etched old fashioned weight scale "AWS Alcoso Solingen" maker mark is dark crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain looks great as it shines in the light and runs the full length of the blade. With a perfect tip the blade rates in at Exc++. It shows age greying and spotting throughout. There is also a small wiggle to the fit. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and the two throat retaining screws remain intact! The lower bands is upside down and I have seen this quite a few times. The burnished aluminum Luftwaffe eagle crossguard is beautifully hand enhanced! It has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The burnished aluminum pommel is beautifully darkened and hand enhanced to the sides. The early orange trylon grip has beautifully aged with time. It has a small hit to the reverse but that's about it. The twisted wire wrap remains tightly intact. A great piece with some beautiful and unique features!
