A fine piece. The blade on this one is fine. The "RZM M7/13" (Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co., Solingen-Wald) maker mark looks good. The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is perfect. The blade rates an Exc. It has been sharpened and shows heavy age spotting and surface scratches throughout. The original black leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is in great shape! It shows minor paint loss and spidering throughout yet retains 85% of its original paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The blackened scabbard leather remains in good shape. All of its rivets are intact and the button continues to work well! The leather shows age crazing and wear, mostly toward the snap area. The zinc-alloy based nickel-silver plated hilt is in good shape. It continues to retain 85%+ coverage. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in near perfect shape and secured by two steel rivets. They have a small wiggle. The HJ diamond retains 99%+ of its enamel! A solid piece.
