A nice looking early NSKK Dagger here! The blade on this looks great! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Justinuswerk Solingen" maker mark are both dark crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain in gorgeous as it runs the full length of the blade! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an easy Exc++. It shows the common age grey throughout. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is looks great. It retains 85%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great as well. There are some pressure marks to the reverse of the lower fitting. The ball retains a nice and round shape. Four screws are intact. The upper right hand screw is a replacement. The scabbard to crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "BO" (Bayerische Ostmark - It is always in capital letters). The brown hardwood grip is in great shape. It has a few flakes along with the commonly seen pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle has nice detail and a perfect fit. The SA roundel retains 80%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A nice looking piece!
