Here's a nice early piece with beautiful handwork! The 32" blade on this one rates an easy NM. There is the odd surface scratch and a couple dots of age but that's about it. The blade is really clean with no sharpening, pitting or stains. The tip is perfect It's unmarked but can be found in Angolia's sword reference pg 143 The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard shows some wear with surface scratches/crazing throughout. The scabbard has a small impression just up from the obverse drag. It's hard to picture but you can find it with your fingers. The throat is secured by two unturned dome head screws. The heavy solid brass hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed and look at all that hand enhancing!! The languet features an open winged political style eagle. The black celluloid grip is near perfect. The brass triple wire wrap is nice and tight. A great piece to add to your collection!
