Bulgarian Commemorative War Medal 1915-1918

An inexpensive WWII 1933-1939 Bulgarien Kriegserinnerungsmedaille 1915-1918! The award is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded. The round shaped obverse depicts the crowned state coat of arms imposed on crossed broad swords and encircled by a laurel leaf and berry wreath. The reverse dates “1915-1918” encircled by a wreath of wheat, oak leaves and roses. To the top is a soldered on loop and ring which holds approximately 9 inches of chain. It measures approximately 1 ¼ inches in diameter. Nice gilt remains!
