Here we have a great looking Alcoso example! The blade on this one looks good. The dark and crisp acid etched “ACS Alcoso Solingen” maker mark is beautifully executed! It has a perfect tip and solid fit. The blade on this one rates an Exc+/Exc++. It shows heavy age grey throughout and the tip has a subtle bend to it. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based copper flash coated nickel-silver plated scabbard looks great. It shows a nicely patinaed copper finish to it. It also depicts nice details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remains intact! The burnished aluminum eagle crossguard has nice detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The steel ferrule is nicely detailed and the pommel is beautifully hand enhanced! The pommel retains reminisce of its gold gilding. The wood based celluloid covered grip looks wonderful! The odd mark but no damage, cracks or chips! The double twisted copper wire wrap remains tightly intact. A quality unique piece!
