M34 Fire Police Helmet

Here we have a standard stamped sheet steel M34 style Fire Police Helmet. It continues to retain about 92%+ of its original black paint with minor oxidization spotting throughout. The left side of the helmet has a Police decal that is 80% complete and the right sawastika decal is 90% complete. The helmet has standard "salt and pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the round rivets are intact along with the three where a comb used to be. The interior of the helmet has a “59" (written with pencil) sized light tan leather liner. It has ventilation perforations to the front forehead section. All four of the natural cork spacers between the liner and the helmet shell are still intact. The liner has 2 of the 5 original leather tabs for attaching the protective leather neck guard intact. Chinstrap is 15% intact. The interior is also stamped to the side: “Vorschiftsmaßig gem Anordnur ” 0. 2. 1934”. A fine piece!
