Certainly one of the rarest patterns out there. This plated blade does show extensive age grey yet still has a nice crisp etch. A similar motif can be seen on pg 133 of the Techet reference. It is considered a rare and unique etch seldom seen offered. Very Rare. The blade has no sharpening. Blade rates Exc/Exc+. The hilt has good plating but there is a bit of lifting the worse of which it to the reverse crossguard. It still rates at least 98%. The release button works fine. The grip plates are damage free being retained with 2 steel rivets. The scabbard is an undented example with just the evidence of honest wear. Scabbard has 99% of period painted surface intact. Leather buffer is intact and the mortise slot has a yellow felt plug. You likely will not see another available in a very long time.
