Imperial 2nd Class Iron Cross

A nice looking stickpin! It is constructed out of a die struck bronze base that has been black painted. The obverse features; a patt�e style cross that has a centrally placed “W” (cypher for King Wilhelm II), below a Kings crown (upper arm) and above “1914” (lower arm), which is all on a black base and surrounded by a lined row and a flat outlying border. The full back reverse has a soldered on oval plate knurled stickpin. It shows minor paint loss. The face measures approximately 3/8 of an inch wide and tall. A cool one!
